Worth
Ross began his real estate career in 1984 after receiving his Bachelor
and Master degrees from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. He
started Worth Ross & Associates in 1989, primarily to lease, manage and sell
property owned at the time by the lending institutions of Nations Bank,
Am-West Savings and Sun Belt Savings.
In 1990 Worth Ross & Associates acquired the property management accounts of McKey Realtors. Additional property management accounts were acquired in 1997 from A & B Services, McHenery Real Estate in 1998 and Bricker Property Management in 1999. The firm continued to grow by supplying property management services to the families of many major corporations such as EDS, Ericsson, World Com and Archon as they transferred employees for two to three year assignments around the world. Additionally relocation companies such as Primacy, American International Relocation, Suddath International and EDS Relocation sub-contract with Worth Ross & Associates to manage homes for transferees. Homes in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area are managed by the Worth Ross team while properties in other states are managed by teaming up with a network of local property management professionals who are members of The National Association of Residential Property Managers. Contracting with licensed agents who specialize in property management to lease the homes and provide other services on an as- needed basis has given Worth Ross a nation wide capability. These businesses and others have enjoyed working with Worth Ross for they now have a single point of contact for all their property management needs and enjoy the flexibility of the maintenance work order and accounting systems used by Worth Ross.
In 2002 the property management portion of Worth Ross & Associates was divided and Worth Ross Management Co. Inc. was formed. The firm has continued to grow and provide superior service through its team of professionals to over 700 single family homes, condos and small apartments in ten different states.
In 2003 Ross Asset Management, LLC. was formed to receive over 10 million dollars in assets in Dallas & Tarrant County through the District Court as an appointed "Receiver". The firm’s responsibility is to complete an accounting of the assets, manage them and finally liquidate the assets, satisfying liens and returning the net proceeds to the beneficiaries.
Meanwhile Worth Ross & Associates, Inc. continues to provide full service real estate services to its clients, such as site selection for: Sprint PCS stores, Shurgard Storage, Uncle Julio’s, Hamburger Mary’s and Feed Bag Restaurants, Glasfloss Industries and numerous corporate and individual clients.
